Hi,
I decided to play some of your game, in the browser. For some reason, when I went through the third area shifter, and went to the left to try to get the coin, the camera started moving around weird when I tried to jump.
I just edited the game maybe you should try again.
Let's assign a pysics body and set friction to 0, also when dropping from a high place the camera stops then snaps to the character a bit later. Can be solved with checks in the update or some sort of value clamping. I have bought some advanced character controllers this sprint sale; I believe there are free ones too that cover friction and camera by default. Maybe that helps.
i think you should work a little bit more in this days, because the game is not a metroidvania and the game doesn't have mechanics or is an open world.
maybe if you don't want to basically recreate the game, just make the movement, jump and collisions a bit better.
